The Scout - Magnetic Optics Adapter
The Full Frame Scout was built to be a practical, affordable and quick digiscoping system, made for the average joe.
Use your own phone case, with any smartphone, on most modern optics.
From those early mornings glassing up big bucks, to sighting in your rifle at the desert, the Scout can go anywhere you go to quickly capture those moments you want to look back on and show your buddies.
The patented Full Frame digiscoping system comes with the "Nanner", our banana shaped metal clip that attaches to the back of your phone case, our Alignment Tool, and the Scout optics attachment.
Important Compatibility Tips:
The Scout is compatible with most modern optics due to our unique mechanism that allows users to make fine tune adjustments. However, there are some things to take note of to insure a reliable connection in the field.
Use a smooth, hard plastic phone case of your choosing
The best part of the Full Frame design is the ability for you to use your own phone case. We recommend using a phone case that has a smooth backing and is made of a hard plastic material. The following types of phone cases are examples that will not work well with the tape that adheres the Nanner to your case:
- Soft silicone phone cases
- Strongly textured phone cases
- Phone cases with holes or indents
- Phone cases with an attached battery pack or other raised features
While the Full Frame Scout does work on most modern optics, it does not fit well on the Swarovski BTX eye piece. To ensure accurate compatibility, make sure the diameter of your eye piece is greater than 44mm.
